The Unfriend by Steve Moffat
Dates 29 September – 3 October 2026
Director: Charlie Cook
Drama: Dark Comedy
Time: Contemporary
Synopsis
Peter and Debbie are enjoying a cruise – a celebration of twenty years of marriage, and a break from their annoying teenagers. They befriend fellow passenger, Elsa Jean Krakowski, an eccentric American with a fondness for Donald Trump. There's something slightly unsettling in her overeager friendliness... but there's no point rocking the boat if you're about to get off it.
Back home, in the comfort of suburbia, Elsa suddenly turns up on Peter and Debbie's doorstep, unexpectedly. And when they look up their house guest online, unearthing some hair-raising evidence, their good nature is challenged as never before. What kind of danger have they allowed to take up residence in their guest room? And can they bring themselves to say anything about it? Sometimes, the truth is just too impolite.
Steven Moffat's play The Unfriend takes a hilarious and satirical look at middle-class England's disastrous instinct always to appear nice.
Cast
Peter – British middle-class, a nervous and uptight husband
Debbie – his wife, more easy-going, but moments of high-stress in the script
(both need to be old enough to have teenage children)
Elsa (40-60s) - brash American woman whose over-friendliness
and questionable past create tension and comedic situations for the couple.
Rosie (18-20) – the daughter, a shouty and argumentative teenager, who turns into a perfect, loving daughter under Elsa’s influence.
Alex (18-20) – the son, starts as a surly non-communicative teenager, then becomes sporty, perfect son through Elsa’s influence.
The Neighbour (60+) – old chap from next door, constantly pops in and talks waffle.
PC Junkin (M) (25-50) – Police role
Menopause Made Me Do It! By Devon Williamson
Dates 16 - 20 February 2027
Director: Gaelle Roques

Synopsis
It has been ten years since the last reunion of the Crazy Ladies. Menopause has arrived and the ladies are crazier than ever. The mission is to convince Kay, the gun toting tom-boy, to marry Shaun (the guy she once kidnapped and held accountable for the sins of all men).
The five menopausal women are lured to a motel by a kidnapper who has seriously underestimated his prey. A weekend of madness and mayhem ensues as the women seize control and marry the kidnapper off to one of their group.
It's hilarious... poignant... utterly mad.

Drama: Murder Mystery
Time: 1940s/WW11
Synopsis
It’s a dark and stormy night, and our cast of oddball characters has been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well, dead. So whodunit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
Cast
WADSWORTH – A traditional butler in every sense: uptight, formal and by the book. He is the driving force in the play.
YVETTE – A loyal and sexy ‘French‘ maid.
MISS SCARLETT – A dry sardonic madam more interested in secrets than sex.
MRS PEACOCK – The wealthy wife of a member of the House of Lords. A bit batty, neurotic and quick to hysteria.
MRS WHITE – A pale, morbid and tragic woman. Mrs. White may or may not be the murderer of her five ex-husbands.
COLONEL MUSTARD – A puffy, pompous, dense blowhard of a military man.
PROFESSOR PLUM – An arrogant academic easily impressed by himself.
REVEREND GREEN – A timid yet officious rule follower. He's awfully anxious.
ENSEMBLE WOMAN, plays: THE COOK – A gruff woman with a threatening presence. (Alive and Dead.) SINGING TELEGRAM GIRL – A tap dancer with a heart of gold. (Alive and Dead.) AUXILIARY SCARLETT – the back of Miss Scarlett during a scene of theatrical trickery. BACKUP OFFICER – Backup for the Inspector in the very final police entrance.
ENSEMBLE MAN 1, plays: MR. BODDY – A slick Frank Sinatra film noir-esque type fella. (Alive and Dead.) THE MOTORIST – A professional driver. (Alive and Dead.) INSPECTOR – A cop who helps to save the day.
ENSEMBLE MAN 2, plays: BOBBY – A regular Joe. (Alive and Dead.) BACKUP OFFICER – Backup for the Inspector. AUXILIARY MUSTARD – The back of Colonel Mustard during a scene of theatrical trickery.
Panto auditions will be held at a later date.
